Senior Account Executives – North America and UK

Responsible for selling into a defined territory with a primary focus on targeted new named accounts while managing existing large accounts. Responsible for territory planning, initiating sales activity, and controlling the sales cycle of identified opportunities to achieve sales goals. Defined territory can be focused on existing accounts, new accounts, or a combination. Vertical expertise should be in Financial Services preferably in Asset / Wealth Management.

Candidate should have sold an enterprise wide software solution either on the IT or business side. Experience in document management, document composition, financial reporting or graphic design preferred. Self-motivated, confident and able to take ownership and provide leadership in sales opportunities.

Key Result Areas

  • Meets or exceeds defined sales quota.
  • Creates strategic account plans to coordinate all sales efforts to successfully win sales campaigns.
  • Coordinate and ensure the production of responses to RFP’s by all parts of the business.
  • Work in conjunction with marketing and business partners in planning and executing sales campaigns.
  • Work in conjunction with Sales Engineers and Professional Services to create account strategies, solutions and identify opportunities across companies.
  • Clarify customer expectations; ensure smooth coordination of project resources with Client Services Group, assisting in kick-off meetings and provide on-going sales input and control throughout project.
  • Use business expertise and market knowledge to reinforce DeskNet’s position in the market place

Senior Sales Engineers (Presales) – North America and UK

We are looking for a bright, energetic, experienced person that possesses the business and technical acumen to understand customer business drivers and clearly articulate complex solutions using DeskNet’s software and professional services to meet those requirements. The SE’s expertise will drive revenue by managing the technical presales process and clearly defining and differentiating DeskNet solutions for prospective customers. The engineer will work closely with direct sales and channel partners to identify sales targets and strategies and execute at prospective clients and current customers to close new sales and expand our customer footprint. This person will educate prospective customers about the superiority of DeskNet’s software and consulting services - this includes conference calls, site visits, presentations, technical evaluations, technical objection handling, proposals, and follow up on all customer related issues. Additionally, responsibilities will include management of the RFI/RFP process, coordination with professional services on moving from sales to implementation and supporting trade shows and events.

Job Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in a “customer facing” environment in the business of Enterprise Software sales
  • Specific expertise in the areas of Client Reporting, Content Management and/or Document Management in the Financial Services sector.
  • Knowledge in the following areas is a plus: Java, XML, QuarkXPress, Content or Document Management Systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills appropriate to both technical and management clients
  • Must have experience developing and enhancing strong client relationships
  • A proven track record demonstrating good business judgment, an ability to make decisions, and a passion for excellence
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • Must be willing to travel approximately 30%
