ContentWelder Compliance-Based Publishing also includes enterprise content management software from IBM.
One of the world's largest mutual fund companies is rolling out the application to replace a manual, error-prone process for creating prospectuses and fund fact sheets. Creating and maintaining prospectuses for more than 150 funds was overloading three departments within the company: legal, investor communications and marketing. In addition, common concepts such as "market risk" were conveyed differently to the investment community, based on which lawyer managed the prospectus. The company sought a way to streamline the process, reduce cost and turnaround time, and standardize the compliance language to reduce risk.
